OVER GLASSES SUNGLASSES CYCLING
When it comes to choosing a cost-effective, neat solution to your prescription sunglasses requirements, over glasses are difficult to beat. Our over glasses sunglasses for cycling are lightweight, strong, optically correct and perfect for all your sports and leisure requirements. With the addition of a retainer strap, our over glasses sunglasses for cycling are perfect for use on your bike.
These over-glasses are designed to fit over glasses up to 13cm wide x 4.5cm high. If your spectacles are larger than this, please take a look at the medium / large size over-glasses instead (listed separately).
Note: We highly recommend you add the optional retainer strap in order to use this product safely and effectively whilst cycling. You can do this by selecting the option from the drop-down menu at the top of this page before completing your purchase.
The Frame
Made from a tough poly-carbonate, the lightweight frame fits comfortably over most styles of spectacles. It features a high quality, hand-sprayed matte black finish.
The Lenses
Impact resistant poly-carbonate lenses are fitted to the Over glasses. They feature a mirror finish, and polarized filters which remove glare from your vision by filtering out horizontal light. The light treatment is Category 3, which is perfect for sunny conditions. Polarized lenses work by filtering out horizontal sunlight that bounces off car windscreens, shiny road surfaces etc. to cause glare.
Conformity
All Sports sunglasses conform to ISO 12311 and 12312 standards for sunglasses and protective equipment testing. They offer 100% UV A / UV B (UV400) protection and also comply with US Z80-3.
